The breakdown of any relationship has a devastating emotional and financial impact on the people involved. The worry that couples experience about their children and finances can be all consuming. When clients first come and talk to a solicitor, they not only need advice and support, they also need practical guidance as to the next steps they need to take.
In order to help you to decide what steps to take, we offer a first Fixed Fee appointment lasting approximately 45 minutes. This can take place in person at either of our offices, or remotely by telephone, zoom, teams etc. The Fixed fee meeting fee is £210.00 (including VAT). Payment will be taken by Debit/Credit Card or by Bank Transfer prior to that meeting when we confirm the booking with you.
We do not offer a free consultation.
At that first meeting, we will listen carefully to what you have to say and then offer practical advice and guide you as to the next steps. We will discuss ways that we can try and resolve your issues without there being contentious court proceedings. We consider the range of alternatives to Court, including Mediation, Collaboration and Arbitration. We will also talk to you about the costs of any work that is required and discuss how best to manage this moving forward.
